Hello, I just saw on Alegre’s Corner that the Gov. of New York will not support Hillary in Denver. What a Jerk! NY PUMAS, please call him and tell him it is Hillary or else!

ACTION: Call David Patterson!

Hat-tip to CatFish for bringing this article to my attention
Seems the good Governor New York hasn’t gotten the latest memo. Hillary’s going to be on that roll call ballot and he needs to get the state’s delegation lined up behind their Senator. He needs a talking-to! He needs to follow the lead of Ed Rendell.
New York governor says…:
New York’s delegation to the Democratic National Convention will vote to nominate Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois for president, not Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, Gov. David Paterson said Monday.
“Believe me, the New York delegation will be all casting our ballots, as far as I know, on the roll call for Senator Barack Obama,” Paterson said during an interview on WNYC radio. “I don’t believe Senator Hillary Clinton is asking anyone to vote for her.”
“I don’t believe…” OMG is this man really that dense? Does he need this sort of stuff spoon-fed to him? Hillary’s going to be on that ballot for a reason. To give her delegates the chance to cast their vote for her. Especially, you know… her PLEDGED DELEGATES. How can he try to take that away from her supporters and deny Hillary’s 18 million voters a voice?
So let’s contact the good Governor and ask him (respectfully) to back his state’s Senator and our one shot at beating the republicans and re-taking the White House – Hillary Clinton.

If Hillary had run in 2004 but Kerry still had gotten the nomination would you have voted for Bush? Will you subject this nation to another 4 years of Bush-style policies out of spite for Obama? And in hopes that the only true candidate can run in 2012 (assuming we still have a democracy then)? Why don’t you just write-in Dick Cheney instead? COMNTSMF (Cutting Off My Nose To Spite My Face) might be a better acronym for this movement but if McCain is elected because of your abandoning the Democratic party you will be forever known as PUMAs (Pushed Up My Ass!). Bill certainly believes in a cult of personality but I doubt Hillary really does. I would love for her to be the first female President of the United States but I think it’s pretty stupid (and selfish) to try to ruin any chance of a Democratic presidency until she’s the only candidate. I’m a Democrat, not a Obama-maniac but I don’t want another 4 years of right-wing disasters!

i’m an obama supporter who was interested in what your group and ones like it are saying. i have to be honest though, there’s not a lot of substance here. seems like someone trying to justify muslim extremism by quoting the koran. maybe i’m just not seeing it or it’s hidden deep in the website. why do you hate obama so much? i’m not trying to be aggressive. i’m seriously just interested in why you hate him so much.

McCain = Perpetual War
I voted for Hillary; I’m 66 years old, part of her core group and have faced gender discrimination many, many times. But above all I’m anti-war. McCain wants to send troops to Georgia(to fight Russia?); he wants to bomb Iran (he was not joking: “bomb, bomb, bomb Iran” “There is only one thing worse than the US exercising the military option in Iran and that is a nuclear-armed Iran.” He objected to President Clinton’s peace deal with No. Korea: “a firmer response to North Korea might have triggered a war, a war we could win, but not without paying a terrible price.” As outlined in McCain’s disquisition on No. Korea, the fact that some state does not pose an imminent threat to the US is no reason to refrain from attacking it. On the contrary, “the fact that a state is not threatening is a reason to attack it as soon as possible, lest it become more powerful overtime.” In 1997 he was on Fox news complaining that “the US should have overthrown Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War.” In 1999 in a speech at Kansas State University he stated that the US must have a doctrine to “call it rogue-state rollback, if you will, supporting indigenous and OUTSIDE FORCES that desire to overthrow odious regimes that rule these states.” And again in 1999 speaking before the American Jewish committee: “several years ago, I and many others argued that the US, in concert with willing allies, should work to undermine from within and without outlaw regimes.”

You should have been paying more attention to Hillary, she wants you to vote for Obama, unless you think she is a liar. You people are selfish and self promoters. If you think that voting for McCain is an option then you are not democrats and certainly not Hillary democrats.

Thank you for cataloguing the despicable sexist smears against Sarah Palin. Her selection has brought hope to women of all party affiliations, who will be proud to vote for a woman at the top of a Presidential ticket.

Investigating Obama: Career Path Toward a Neo-Marxist Presidency
http://investigatingobama.blogspot.com/2008/10/baracks-career-path-toward-american.html
Facts are documented via Web links.Β Many good pieces have already been written about the socialist / neo-Marxist elements of Barack Obamaβs life (numerous of which are cited here) but this is the only piece I know which thoroughly and concisely documents the entire story in a 1-page article.Β
It is intended to foment blog buzz, media education, plus numerous emails and even some door-to-door delivery.

Here is an e-mail I just sent in anger to the RNC for their failure to defend Gov. Palin and her family from bitter and petty McCain “aides”:
Please ask Senator McCain to stop his aides from trashing Governor Palin. I only donated to his campaign because of the addition of Gov. Palin. It seems clear by now that Sen. McCain had no intention to win, by refusing to bring up Rev. Wright, Fr. Phleger, Rezko, Khalidi and Obama’s own middle name and many, many other terrible associations that Obama had.
And, if it is not McCain’s aides who are trashing her, then let him get out there and say so.
McCain knocked on her door, then forced her, in suicidal fashion, to the Couric and Gibson wolves. He said nothing while she was being completely trashed by the news media. He protected Sen. Obama more that his own VP.
This decent and accomplished regular American woman seemingly touched a nerve with the GOP hierarchy, the media and the NY/DC elite “intelligentsia”, both liberal and conservative, and she and her family’s reputations were systematically destroyed.
Enough with the “it’s my turn” GOP senators. This year was a perfect storm for the Republicans, with the addition of about 2-3 million PUMA voters (Hillary Democrats), McCain should have won easily, if he had wanted to win.
Where is the party of Reagan? Where is the party of small government, honest leadership? When the DNC tells you who to run as president and how to run your campaign, you’ve lost already.
Both parties today are the epitome of corruption, self-dealing, hypocrisy and dishonesty; it is apparent to every American, who runs their household, balances their budgets, and saves for their future, that the rules are completely different for us and those who are our “rulers”.
Honestly, I wish I had never given any money to the GOP this year.

In the wake of the Justice Dept. move to drop the AIPAC case, I’d like to share a rant:
Obama’s Palistinian Policy: broght to you by *AIPAC*
—————————————
Headline — Financial Times January 8, 2009:
Dennis Ross Will Be Obama’s ‘Ambassador-at-Large’ For The Middle East
————————
From Wikipedia:
Dennis Ross was a noted supporter of theΒ Iraq warΒ and he signed twoΒ Project for a New American CenturyΒ (PNAC) letters in support of the war in March 2003.[20]Β
According toΒ Wall Street Journal, Ross, along withΒ James SteinbergΒ andΒ Daniel Kurtzer, were among the principal authors of presidential candidateΒ Barack Obamaβs address on the Middle East to AIPAC in June 2008.[21]Β It was viewed as the Democratic nomineeβs most expansive on international affairs.[22]
————————————
July 17th, 2007 From:Β Rootless Cosmopolitan – By Tony Karon Β» Blog Archive Β» The Dissembling of Dennis Ross
‘Hamas* is made up of killers; that they want to be part of a larger Islamist empire; that they are already trying to bring Iran to Gaza; and that the worse thing to do now is to reward Hamas with recognition.β
-Dennis Ross
—————————
Voice of America:
*Hamas Wins Local Palestinian Elections in Gaza
Jerusalem
28 January 2005
Initial results show the militant group Hamas has won an overwhelming victory in Palestinian local elections held Thursday in the Gaza Strip, winning nearly two-thirds of the local council seats in 10 districts. The results reflect the widespread support Hamas has in Gaza, and are also seen as a potential turning point for the Islamic group.
Hamas Spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri called it a victory for the Palestinian people. Thousands of supporters took to the streets in Gaza on Friday, waving green Hamas flags, and hailing the election outcome.
————————————
It is time someone in the mainstream media . . . took to task Dennis Ross, the AIPAC man who served the first Bush Adminsitration and then Clinton as a Middle East mediator, before returning to the AIPAC fold β but who is treated by the U.S. media as some sort of yoda figure, the fount of jedi wisdom in managing the Middle East.
More insidious, however, are his efforts to shape the U.S. response to the current situation in the Palestinian territories.
Oops, too late:
Β
WASHINGTON (Reuters) January 4, 2009 – Even as Israelis and Palestinians plunged deeper into conflict, U.S. President-elect Barack Obama remained silent, refusing to budge from his one-president-at-a-time mantra.
Obama takes office on January 20 but has not commented on the Middle East crisis since Israel launched attacks on Gaza nine days ago. His advisers insist that only President George W. Bush can speak for America until then.
The Palestinian death toll in nine days of Israeli attacks has risen to more than 500. Hamas, which ended a six-month ceasefire, has fired rockets deeper into Israel than ever before, hitting major cities and killing four Israelis.
While most prominent U.S. politicians have backed Israel, critics have noted that Obama joined Bush in condemning the killing of civilians in attacks in November in Mumbai, India. They would have liked him to say something about the fate of Palestinian civilians caught in the fighting.
The president-elect also has commented on the global economic crisis and his plans to try to pull the U.S. economy out of recession.
Asked about the apparent contradiction, an Obama transition aide who asked not to be named said on Sunday: “President Bush is our nation’s president until January 20, and he is responsible for our nation’s diplomacy with the world.
“During this transition period, we are not engaging in any action that could send confusing signals to the world about who speaks on behalf of the United States.”
———————
————————————
————————————-
And as you read this those folks at theΒ *American Israel Public Affairs Committee*Β Β are confidently working to craft US policy:
May 1, 2009 (Mayday)
Β AIPAC set to push Iran legislation at major conference | Iran news | Jerusalem Post
Some 6,500 American Israel Public Affairs Committee activists attending the organization’s annual conference will be hitting Capitol Hill next week to stress the importance of the US-Israel relationship and push legislation imposing sanctions on Iran.

I don’t know if you are aware that the text that appears in blockquote – on today’s 12/20/09 home page – starting with the name “Xultar” is too light to be read by people with vision problems. The post is titled “They talk about us in B0botland”.
Can I suggest that you darken the type a little?
