If it’s Friday. it’s the DUdies
Some fluffers come with new worshipful words (high school? Teletubbies?)
someone is rude enough to interrupt the swooning with phot0s
5. Yep, “bad” alright
In April 2009, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that the government must invoke the state secrets privilege with respect to specific pieces of evidence – not over an entire lawsuit. The Obama administration appealed that ruling, and in December the appeal was heard by an en banc panel of all 11 Ninth Circuit judges. According to the ACLU, today’s ruling all but shuts the door on accountability for the illegal program. The ACLU intends to seek Supreme Court review of the decision.
Paranoia blooms as they discuss the debunked story
And the DUdie goes to the fluffer who declares that
mzmolly. Pro-Obama people should run the board.
This is a board for Democrats. This is not in question. And, while I think people have a right to be critical, as Skinner has pointed out, Democrats don’t come here to listen to such critique.
On the other hand, there are legitimate reasons to criticize any of the people or groups I mentioned, so I’m concerned (yes, concern is allowed) that the OP’s post will now be used by some to claim that all criticism of Obama or the Democrats is motivated by paid trolls.
Paid or not, trolls and their unwitting supporters are doing damage. People here are called all kinds of things. Blind loyalist, and troll among them. I’m glad the OP has shed light on the fact that paid trolls are not a figment of our collective imaginations.

although it’s a mere extension of a thread in 2008 requesting that everyone who doesn’t support Obama be banned.
But that particular discussion turned into a witch hunt as someone noticed

440. Witchsmeller Pursuivant smells witches!
Someone is nailing it
McCarthyism is a greater bar to civil, open discussion than ten boat-loads of trolls.
but gets shouted down by the fluffers
It takes 2 days for the hoax to be finally brought up here
So, was it a Dem pretending to be a Libertarian pretending to be a Dem?
Some expect apologies, but none of the accusers show up here.
10. In that case then it was the Troll Hunters who got trolled..
Ah, those good ol’ PUMA times! One speaks up
5. If you want party unity,
you have a real bad way of pushing it. Real bad.
and another one
26. why didn’t I think about this earlier. Let’s motivate the undecided by calling them names
such as “professional Left”. Should work wonders!
and an even better one
7. The only time centrists like DK is when he agrees with them.
So a few times a year they get to trot him out as an “example” of a solid Democrat, even though most shit on the same guy any other time. That’s their idea of “getting it”.Any Party that makes me look mature is in trouble. Now there’s a teachable moment. Permalink
Here’s a realization
Because the HCR bill is SHIT.
and a threat disguised as a DUH
supporter of a Democratic President and Democratic candidates become a bad thing? When did that start? Does anyone remember?
lots of helpful responses. Love this one
It makes zero sense to blame the voters for a party’s losses. It’s like blaming movie critics for negative movie reviews.
and this one
29. When did ardent supporters start belittling and minimizing the concerns of oppressed citizens?
Probably around that same time.
but some object
16. Then stop rolling over to the interests that treat you like a dog.
48. Exactly…and it was a poor choice of words for a President to use…
and he stepped in doo doo by even saying such a thing. What was he thinking?
while some get worried about the consequences of such “bravery”
Front page of CNN sez —> Ticker: Angry Obama goes off script
Now they’re probably going to try to paint him as an angry black man !!!Damn media!

Fluffers keep their fingers crossed
And again, they came full circle on Betrayus
I think buring Qurans
is silly, but I really find the General’s attempt to chill free speech very troubling.

7. I find the General’s urging SANITY very encouraging.
Ironically, “chimpymustgo” is now for STFU and support the troops.Permalink
and in a better intended thread, they don’t even deny the hypocrisy
If they’re free to burn the Koran, we’re free to ask them why they hate the troops!
C’mon! How many times have the wingnuts used that line against us?Now that General Petraeus has said that this Koran-burning will directly endanger U.S. troops, I’m all about using that to score some political points against the teabaggers and fundies!
some still think
He’s setting them up.
Biden’s no slouch when it comes to political tricks.Permalink
but others not buying anymore
17. And here I’d thought we’d seen the last of the Jedi mind trick playing 47 dimensional chess posts.
Some fluffers come with new worshipful words (high school? Teletubbies?
He’s practically screaming it. Extend, baby, extend! Temporarily (wink wink)!
STEPHANOPOULOS: How deep is your commitment to this fight? Are you saying that if Congress passes a short term extension of all the tax cuts, you’re gonna veto it?
OBAMA: George, here’s what … I’m saying is that we’ve got a fundamental choice about this economy. You can’t have Republicans running on fiscal discipline that we’re gonna reduce our deficit, that the debt’s out of control, and then borrow tens, hundreds of billions of dollars to give tax cuts to people who don’t need them. (crosstalk)
STEPHANOPOULOS: Does that mean you will veto an extension of tax cuts to the wealthy?
OBAMA: What I am saying is that if we are going to add to our deficit by $35 billion, $95 billion, $100 billion, $700 billion, if that’s the Republican agenda, then I’ve got a whole bunch of better ways to spend that money.
STEPHANOPOULOS: But you’re not saying you’re gonna veto it.
OBAMA: I, there are a whole bunch better ways to spend the money.
but fluffers invoque CDS , Obama Times and DU defense and gives us th DUdie
37. Yeah, it’s not as if we’re still in the Clintonian doublespeak era anymore, thank goodness.
Edited on Thu Sep-09-10 12:07 PM by ClarkUSAWhat also clear is the OP is unable to credit this President with making the right decision even when it’s been front-page news on both the New York Times and DU Permalink
Oh, well, who could argue with THOSE front pages? 75% oil gone? No WMDs?
