Really. Per Gibbs
“I hear these people saying he’s like George Bush. Those people ought to be drug tested,” Gibbs said. “I mean, it’s crazy.”
Indeedy. Since I came up with Jr.jr,
give me the test.
But first, enjoy the headline
More reasons we are crazy
The press secretary dismissed the “professional left” in terms very similar to those used by their opponents on the ideological right, saying, “They will be satisfied when we have Canadian healthcare and we’ve eliminated the Pentagon. That’s not reality.”
Of those who complain that Obama caved to centrists on issues such as healthcare reform, Gibbs said: “They wouldn’t be satisfied if Dennis Kucinich was president.”
I dunno about the Pentagon, but yeah, Canadian healthcare would be good. Hillarycare too.
As for Kuchinich, after the spectacular sell-out on healthcare, no thanks.
But look, there’s mercy in their anger:
While visibly frustrated, Gibbs did not specifically name any of the White Houses’s liberal detractors by name.
That’s left for the next time.
“There’s 101 things we’ve done,” said Gibbs, who then mentioned both Iraq and healthcare.
Bush’s plan and Heritage Foundation’s. Next!
But they sound just like W talking about the Iraqis
“And from Gibbs’s perspective, and the White House perspective, they ought to be able to catch a break from people who, in their view, should be grateful and appreciative.”
Ungrateful bastards! Oh, but not all of the “left”
The groups emailed WikiLeaks to say they were concerned for the safety of Afghans identified as helping the U.S. military in documents obtained by WikiLeaks, according to several of the groups. WikiLeaks has already published 76,000 of the documents and plans to publish up to 15,000 more.
Why can’t the rest of you be more like them?
Update – now with B0bots comments

adding another typical B0bot one
10. Well said Robert Gibbs.
Nothing will ever be good enough and undermining the President is the name of the game.
Big K&R for the article and the many, many good things accomplished by this President in a mere 20 months.
From another discussion comes this witty question
“Professional”? You can get paid for this?
Well, some do – and I guess the threat of having that taken away was just dangled here.
Gibbs apologizes – sorta
In a statement to the Huffington Post, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs acknowledged that his recent broadside against the “professional left” was inartful, and called for renewed unity among the Democratic community.
Inartful! Inexcusable from the Artful Dodger! He blames it all…on teevee
“I watch too much cable, I admit,” Gibbs told the Huffington Post. “Day after day it gets frustrating.
Well, in this case (he apologized0 let’s call the whole thing off and vote for the basterds! (just kidding)
