The old “Hillary for SCOTUS” meme from the primaries is back and in there you get all sorts of even worse reactions.

Hillary Clinton for the Supreme Court?

The illustration was posted there in response to a post replying to the “she can run in 2016” generous offer

Besides, why would she want to put herself through that nightmare after the way she was treated the last time around? The media was appalling and so was the left and the leadership of her own party.

“Besides, why would she want to put herself through that nightmare after the way she was treated the last time around? The media was appalling and so was the left and the leadership of her own party.”

but the poster returns

63. Yes, she would have been a great president.

And I’m still seething with anger at the way she was treated by the media and the party leadership once they decided that they wanted Obama to be the nominee. All the backroom deals and backstabbings were one part of that trashy book (Game Change) that were mostly true. I said it before and I’ll say it again, I rather give money to a crack addict than to the DNC. I now only volunteer time and give money to those local and state candidates I personally know. For example, like Sen. Menendez and before him Gov. Corzine. They both live in my town.

And then there’s the old crap

55. Failed the Bar, and too right-wing for me.

A “Goldwater Democrat” isn’t exactly the best replacement for Stevens.

and all, besides the “too old”

Funny how some of them are for it  because

4. Oh man, The wingnuts would really come unhinged.

Irony is dead. Any look at that thread and it’s clear where the “unhinging would occur.

Ugly people, small minds..

Nice to see that some things never change. I decided to put here all the ugliness, least I would be inclined to forget it and make nice.

This one comes from the right so the comments bear the mark – but it has videos and transcripts.

The short of it, Gingrich in his loony speech said among other things

Speaking of the President’s basketball skills, Gingrich added, “But it doesn’t put anybody to work. And what we need is a president, not an athlete. We need somebody who actually focuses on getting people back to work.”

O’Donnel thought she found her racist angle

“But I’m not sure what he means by this particular sound bite,” said O’Donnell. “And I think it’s open to some criticism because it suggests that the president is an athlete and some people may suggest, you know, because all black people are good athletes. I mean that’s what it sort of sounds like to me.”

The video is a must for the derision that follows, I especially love the part about the pitch disproving any claims of being an athlete.

Of course, we here, get to laugh on yet another level as my source calls O’Donnel “far left”

Yes, it’s come to this in America. Criticizing a half-black man for doing a lousy job is racist in the eyes of far-left TV babbleheads.

.It’s a nervous laugh to be sure, but we can laugh

Stars and stripes has an incendiary page one – reflecting the state of our wars.

It seems that Obama – our anti-war/Nobel peace prize laureate is hung and  burned in effigy in Bagdad along with Biden and Gates.

There’s a breaking news story inside as well

Polish leader, 95 others dead in Russia jet crash

WaPo splits its page between Stevens’ retirement and Stupak’s

.Elsewhere, in Indiana – Stevens’ retirement is portrayed as less serene an event

.Obama Times has the Stevens piece and a new Karzai conflict story (all our wars are doing just fine – they love us over there). There’s also new incriminating evidence on the pope covering up for child molesting priests

In Florida they expect a “sick out” from the teachers in response to the merit-pay legislation Obama inspired

while in Massachusetts Deval Patrick is aparently planning to run as someone else

In New York the only non-tiger news is about the beached whale dying and state parks possible closing this summer
