Sorry, Obama and war, but you have to share space with Gotti

or Gotti and Tiger Woods

and sometimes be pushed to the sides

but then again, it’s not like you didn’t plan on sharing a cover with Tiger Woods (be careful what you wish for)

Good thing Obama’s official tabloid comes to the rescue: he only shares there with healthcare for American Indians and Canadian Hockey teams

And I am off to read the text ro find out: did he say “win” as Newsday wrote on their page one or did he leave it out as per NY Post?…

10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger?
I can tell you I’m not thinking about golf here. :)

Nobody does anymore. I wonder if they’ll scrap that cover.

NYS: Today I spent several hours in a waiting room with a good selection of magazines. COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES. Top row left was January edition of Golf Digest (Tiger and BO). Immediately to the right was Newsweek cover of Sarah in running gear. I really wanted to steal the Digest, but confined myself to taking notes and putting it back. None of the tips were solely golf-related, and they appear to have been written by someone other that Tiger. They are as follows: 1. Refocus quickly after disaster. Wonder how Tiger himself will fare with his current disaster. 2. Convey a cold ferocity to those who have annoyed you. 3. Hone your ability to assess when adversary is at weakest point; then come in for figurative kill. 4. Although compromise is necessary, never compromise your core values. (Does O have core values?) 5. Win a big victory such as health care in order to increase your power to intimidate. 6. Control the message (he’s got that) and control spending (not so much). 7. Don’t hunker down and simply rely on the vision and skills that got you elected. 8. Quit dressing inappropriately (particularly on golf course). 9. You’ve got to deliver; it’s not good enough to have glory thrust upon you by simply holding a position. 10. Avoid looking ridiculous in public. (Keep golfing to yourself.)
Earlier on in the magazine was a Q & A: How hard is it to leave home now that you have two small children? It’s tough. Sometimes you just don’t want to leave them.

Obama stunk. It was a George W. speech in a delivery so flat the cadets had trouble staying awake.
I’m watching as Hillary goes before Congress to bail his sorry ass out AGAIN. :-( No doubt she’ll do a bang-up job, but listening to her justify Obama’s War is going to be very hard to take. The WH had poor Joe Biden hitting the morning shows pushing the very plan that he’d been fighting so hard against. What a sorry mess. I loathe Barack Obama.

I found this in the comments @ DU:
Obama: “We Did Not Ask for This Fight”
Bush: “We Did Not Seek This Conflict”
Obama: “New Attacks are Being Plotted as I Speak”
Bush: “At This Moment … Terrorists are Planning New Attacks”
Obama: “Our Cause is Just, Our Resolve Unwavering”
Bush: “Our Cause is Just, Our Coalition Determined”
Obama: “This Is No Idle Danger, No Hypothetical Threat”
Bush: “The Enemies of Freedom Are Not Idle”
Obama: “We Have No Interest in Occupying Your Country”
Bush: “I Wouldn’t Be Happy if I Were Occupied Either”

cj (again).
Yes, it is so difficult to listen to Hillary justify this war for Obama.

Hi morninmist! Good to see you. :-)
Yes it’s difficult alright. I’ll always respect & admire HRC, & unlike the O, I honestly think she’s telling it the way she sees it…but I think she’s wrong & I’m not going to turn into an apologist for anyone.
Joe Biden had a better alternative IMHO.

“Never before has a speech by President Barack Obama felt as false as his Tuesday address announcing America’s new strategy for Afghanistan. It seemed like a campaign speech combined with Bush rhetoric — and left both dreamers and realists feeling distraught…..
“Just minutes before the president took the stage inside Eisenhower Hall, the gathered cadets were asked to respond “enthusiastically” to the speech. But it didn’t help: The soldiers’ reception was cool.
There he goes again – using our military for props. Hey isn’t that illegal?
