TMZ is working hard to makeover his image

We got this pic, taken yesterday at Out of the Closet thrift store. That’s Warren on the right (naturally), his arm around Erol Sarabi, who is openly gay.

OK, maybe it was a different picture, but someone had to mention the guy who created this whole shotstorm, non?

And if that wasn’t enough:

Warren also said he met with Melissa Etheridge recently and the two planned to have dinner together — go figure.

Now if he can also mimic respect for women – just kidding – not needed  to pretend THAT these days

…Some of the comments at the TMZ  link are interesting:

#2  seems to be wavering. A little

2. you hve to admit he is trying. i am gay and decided I wasn’t even goign to turn the television on the day the inguration, just sit home and watch as much gay porn as possible.

8. I don’t understand the big deal about Rick being there when Obama has been very open about the fact that he is AGAINST gay marriage also.

Give Dee a silver dollar!

Same glimpse of truth in SF Chronicle today

Then why are gay leaders applauding the election of Obama, while calling on him to exclude the participation of the Warren? It makes no sense — unless they had convinced themselves that Obama did not mean it when he said he opposed same-sex marriage. As long as they think he lied, he still can be their hero.

One of these days, someone will even notice that Warren is anti-women. Just like Obama. One of these days.

Here’s some Ayering New York Times didn’t see fit to print

Billy goes on about how the Weather Underground came into existence because “peaceful protests had failed” and “after an accidental explosion killed three comrades.” The explosion of the townhouse in Greenwich Village was the result of a bomb factory which was preparing bombs containing roofing nails for use at a Fort Dix enlisted club. The inclusion of roofing nails can have but one purpose and that’s to injure or kill people. Prior to this event Bill’s wife, Bernardine Dorhn, placed a bomb of the same design at the Park Police Station in San Francisco and killed Officer McDonnell.

NY Times allows him to paint himself as an “anti-war activist” when in fact

“Bring the war home, kill your parents” was the mantra being chanted when the group decided to go underground in December 1969 and there certainly isn’t anything anti-war in that statement.

Why wasn’t this author as trustworthy as say, Ayres himself?

My name is Larry Grathwohl and I infiltrated the Weather Underground for the FBI

Of course, we’ll take Obama’s buddy’s story over an FBI agent. It’s not like the agent was even…the Mayor of Paris!or something.

The Gray Lady has been tripped by a clever impostor on the subject of the Kennedy brat. Someone who knew their just point of view would not be fit to print unless from “the Mayor of Paris”

So now we have the double pleasure of seeing NYT apologze and pretend they had “standards”

This letter was a fake. It should not have been published.

Doing so violated both our standards and our procedures in publishing signed letters from our readers.

as well as the excellent letter itself:

We French have been consistently admiring of the American Constitution, but it seems that recently both Republicans and Democrats are drifting away from a truly democratic model. The Kennedy era is long gone, and I guess that New York has plenty of more qualified candidates to fill the shoes of Hillary Clinton. Can we speak of American decline?

Yes, we can, ‘Mayor” and it goes from dinastic appointments to gullible media, the rewards for incompetence and corruption everywhere.

Would someone please draw a dark line of distinction between what we call a scandal in Illinois and business as usual in New York? Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is accused of trying to sell a vacant Senate seat, while New York Gov. Paterson is expected to give a Senate seat to the woman whose family can raise lots of money for his benefit.
