Not wanting to be outdone by W in enriching the English language, Obama tries his own

“John McCain and Sarah Palin they call this socialistic,” Obama continued. “You know I don’t know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness.”

I did hear “socialism” for McCain/Palin – but maybe Obama wanted to avoid it because it was  code for black.

So he made a new one.

As for the “selfishness” of  those not paying taxes, Obama may want to look into ACORN

The most recent lien, in the amount of $23,383, was filed by the IRS against an ACORN affiliate, American Workers Associates Inc., on September 9, 2008.

I had to give myself some time to cool off after reading this utterly vicious article by Robin Morgan

calling PUMAs “spalinists”:

You might have noticed a recent media burp—gassy, though blissfully short—about a handful of faux “feminists” backing the John McCain-Sarah Palin ticket. I won’t name these women out of concern that feeding their misplaced sense of self-importance may risk them bursting into shriveled balloon ribbons of overextended ego.

I will not wade through the acrimonious mess. I will highlight one Donna Brazile talking point from one of the approved comments:

I beg all of you who are hurt by the HRC loss but who feel you cannot place a vote for Obama to stay home on election day. Don’t place a vote. Let the rest of us do what is right.

Nice. Asking ANYONE to not vote is the worst thing against democracy I can imagine. You now have no standing to complain on any  tactics meant at “depressing turnout”. It’s not why the fight for women suffrage was waged – to tell those disagreeing with you to stay home, and only those who want to do “what’s right” can vote! Also, reality check: Hillary did NOT lose. It’s why I cannot legitimize your candidate in the first place

Frankly, if ideology were as important to you as you profess, you’d be supporting Cynthia MKinney. Since you totally ignore her, you reveal yourself as a shill. Confirming this:

2 confessions from B0 campaign have this in common

Palin has singlehanded solidified “soft” Republican support, mobilized the McCain ground game, and has even had some appeal to independents and Hillary voters. This is what our internal polling confirms.

the other one

Sarah Palin is a huge threat, and our campaign has feared her like you can’t imagine. If it seems unfair how she has been treated, well its because she has had a team working round the clock to make her look like a fool.

I will instead post my commentary – which is still awaiting moderation at the site – you may want to comment there as well

I know Kim Gandy decreed Sarah Palin wasn’t a woman. And here you are making acceptable this idea that without the right political convictions a woman can be beaten, raped, shot at, hang in effigy – because, frankly, she lacks the credentials to be a person in your book.
Hillary Clinton, Cynthia McKinney, Sarah Palin are not women enough for you. Why? For a candidate who says we have to exercise the right of choice “prayerfully” – with the help of our spiritual adviser. A candidate who says women get 3rd trimester abortions when they are feeling blue, of calls reporters “sweetie”

And yet, we’re supposed to be the laughable ones?
To be clear, since Hillary left this race, i don’t feel I have a candidate who represents my views. But I will fight for the right of any woman to run for office without being called a bitch, a cunt or being totally ignored.
And while I still am not sure which, make no mistake – I am going to vote for a woman (or two) for President. You can just iron Obama’s shirts while you feel superior to me.

Now that the previous post put me in such a great mood, I am taking the challenge and answering you in a pictorial. Things that happened on Halloween:

Vampires bit Greek Goddesses

Marshmallows were roasted over fire

But not chicken

That clown in your picture was doing just fine then

and we had jack o’lanters this good:

So, there!

Some amazing news from internal GOP polling.

It appears that the voters who didn’t want Obama in the primaries, still don’t want him now – Unity pony be damned!

Apparently, McCain is 2 points ahead in New Jersey – and sweet karma – ahead in Michigan! Yes, the “half vote” Michigan. yes, that “4 Hillary delegates go to the guy who wasn’t on the ballot Michigan. And also, the state McCain stopped campaigning in!

Only 2 points behind in California – with 9% undecided and Barr 3%

In Pennsylvania there’s a McCain blowout  55 McCain, 33 Obama – with 37% Dems voting McCain (those PUMAs we were talking about from another source) and 14 % undecided – these being DEMOCRATS udecided

Main issue with voters: Obama cheating and trying to buy this election

I guess the ACORN stories and that infomercial sealed the deal.

The greatest part of this? ACORN is not mobilized in blue states! The vote may actually be real there!

And as for how MSNBC will look election night? I refer you to my Halloween entry for the image

The irony of all this is – we predicted it during the primaries. Losing all important states, scorched earth campaigning and fraud could not earn him a lot of voter loyalty. Especially from the “old base”.

Money and media faked us too – up to a point. But it turns out we were right all along – the DNC selected a disastrous candidate.

I am looking now back at my fix is in entry from September 20

100% of the media – I expect polls and vote counting to follow.

Ignoring polls served me well. Let’s see if the Blue state surprise can trump fraud.

I had covered the second Obama operative confession in a rush and only concentrated now on the buried lede in there

Hillary voters. Internal polling suggests that at best, we are taking 70-75% of these voters. Other estimates are as low as 60% in some areas – particularly Ohio and western PA

Remember those polls back in June saying we were 24%? Ever since, all media did was to convey the idea that we “came home”. Salon even had an article in which they said one of the biggest mistakes this year was to think PUMAs would matter.

Guess what, boys and girls? Not only do we matter – but we matter where it counts!

remember those “racist states”? Appalachia? The Obama media called entire states racist – just because Hillary trounced Obama there. The candidate didn’t say a word to it. Maybe some will remember in November…40% o Hillary voters would do it nicely – seeing that she won these by 40% margins.

In case you forgot, apply those percentages to 18 million.
