The Obama Media is now vetting Joe the Plumber.
From the Orange Cheeto to the New York Times, the entire Obama Media is looking into Joe’s garbage, his taxes, his union dues, his neighbors, his ex-wife…You know, all the stuff reserved for candidates, but not ever done to Obama.
They are trying to get him fired
A staff person with the Toledo Division of Building Inspection told On Call this afternoon that her division will contact Wurzelbacher to notify him that he can’t work without a license.
“We’re trying to track him down,” she said.
Obama is mocking him and the crowd loves it
“A plumber is what he is fighting for”
Move over Hillary Clinton. Move over Sarah Palin. The war is now on the voter for the other side.
It’s not a new war, to be sure.
After DNC marginalized the Florida voters (they were for Hillary), John Kerry asked the media not to cover that primary: “They don’t count.”
After losing Nevada but thanks to the DNC system, getting more delegates, Obama gave voters the finger by not conceding and putting a statement on his website: “I got more delegates, anyway” (so who cares about your votes?”)
Later Obama declared his entitlement to our votes by saying:
“I am confident I will get her votes if I’m the nominee,” Obama stressed. “It’s not clear she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee.”
The Obama media declared all Appalachian voters racist as they were going to vote for Hillary, instead of …well, the right way.
On May 31, the RBC overruled Michigan voters by taking away delegates from Hillary and giving them to Obama.
After Hillary was pushed out of the race through “the clinching”, her voters were told by Obama to get over it and called bitter, deranged and irrelevant by the Obama Media.(OM)
Obama declared all the typical white people racist – and we know that to not be typical is to vote for him – or as B0bots put it “establish street creds you are not racist”
We get a constant drumbeat from the Obama Media that Obama can only lose because we might be racist.
Joe the Plumber is guilty.
Not of being divorced, back with his taxes, not having a plumber license.
He is not even guilty of questioning Obama.
His real crime is of being a McCain voter. One with a valid reason – provided by Obama himself.
Joe the Plumber is not a messenger – so destroying him won’t discredit the message. It was Obama who delivered the “spread the wealth” line – and it doesn’t matter if he answered a question or went on a rhetorical rant. He revealed himself.
Joe the Plumber puts a face on the not-for-Obama voter – which conflicts with the “middle class belongs to Obama” meme. That’s why he is the enemy.
And as such he needs to be discredited, humiliated and hated.
The days of courting voters are long gone. We machine gun them these days.
Question: what’s wrong with that cartoon?
Answer: It has the wrong headline in a newspaper
Update
Adding the full video of the Q and A with Obama so as to disabuse the many embellishments of what was said.
Update October 30
Ohio state Officials looked at Joe’s records
When last we heard from Helen Jones-Kelley, the director of Ohio’s Job and Family Services Division insisted that she has everyone who gets public attention checked to see if they owe family support. Now, with more details about the searches performed on Joe Wurzelbacher becoming public, Jones-Kelley acknowledges she didn’t quite tell the entire truth at first. Her department also ran checks on taxes and welfare payments to see if they could catch Joe the Plumber cheating the system
Jones-Kelley made the revelations in a letter to Ohio Senate President Bill M. Harris, R-Ashland, who demanded answers on why state officials checked out Wurzelbacher.
Harris called the multiple records checks “questionable” and said he awaits more answers. “It’s kind of like Big Brother is looking in your pocket,” he said.

I repost this comment I made over at the confluence:
The media
on Tony Rezko: Ho hum, nothing to see here, move along
on Joe the Plumber: Who IS this man? How much money does he REALLY earn? WHEN did he go bald? The public has a right to know!

Everyone, please follow this link to DONE at http://donedems.com/2008/10/17/436/ for a list of media to contact, and REGISTER YOUR COMPLAINT that the media is attacking a private citizen who asked a perfectly reasonable question of Obama when Obama passed through his neighborhood, and innocently prompted Obama to give a PANTS DOWN answer.

1) He’s not a real plumber
2) He’s undecided
3) He may not be registered to vote
4) Obama won’t raise his taxes

he is a plumber – one of his satisfied customers here
https://edgeoforever.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/joe-the-plumber-speaks/
But he can be a mime for all it matters – it’s Obama who made the damning statement. “SPREADING THE WEALTH” – that was the story.
Like that headline in my cartoon – which you’ll never see in the Obama Media
Who cares who asked the question?
And a small business making 250,000 is very common – you only need 5 employees and some overhead. Obama needs to separate businesses from physical persons – until then, his “95%” is pure bull.

Obama says “spread the wealth”. Yes, the Democrats want to “spread the wealth” but not to the poor.
Democrats want to “spread the wealth” to their unions, to their buddies who bring “development” to the city, to their organizations who provide “services” to the poor, and to the businesses who hire illegal immigrants.
The earth is flat and Democrats are for poor people.
The “affordable” housing that Democrats pushed onto poor people included interest only and variable rate loans that are easier to default on and wreck your credit; not the stable fixed rate 30 yr and 15 yr mortgages that most middle class borrowers use.
The schools that Democrats push onto poor people graduate only half of the kids in Chicago and in Baltimore only 33% of the kids who want to graduate can pass 9th grade level tests. I’ve heard that 75% of African American males drop out of school in Baltimore City. They compete with illegal immigrants for jobs in 1 of the 4 states that allow illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses.
In Chicago, the first Walmart that finally opened in 2006 after intense union opposition, received 15,850 applications for 450 jobs. http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/73731,CST-NWS-walmart27.article
No, Democrats don’t like poor people. They use poor people like a commodity to enrich their unions, enrich their buddies who bring “development” to the city, enrich their organizations who provide “services” to the poor, and enrich the businesses that save money and get around the Democrat’s excessive regulation of the work place by hiring illegal immigrants.
If poor people had any idea how much money is supposedly spent on their behalf and NEVER reaches them, I believe they wouldn’t vote Democrat for a generation.

FORT WORTH, Texas – If Joe the Plumber – who isn’t a licensed plumber – can become a national authority on presidential tax plans – despite owing back taxes – then certainly I can offer college football gambling advice even though I don’t gamble.

the sports national columnist should stick to sports. Joe didn’t claim to be an authority in anything.
Nor did he seek Obama or fame.
A candidate came to his neighborhood. He asked a question.
Candidate revealed himself.
Plumber is crucified for not liking the answer.

Joe Bob
This guy is not a liar and nor is he a fraud.
He is also a private citizen – irrelevant to the media. His question is not even relevant here. Obama’s statement is.
The media is trying to distract us from it. “hey, look at the funny plumber”
Obama – the perfect candidate declared he wants to spread the wealth. That IS the story, and nothing about Joe will make it go away.
Voters will learn to shut up and vote against the guy who waged war on them though.

I suspect that joe bob thinks he said something here, just wish it were a clear thought. I think he might have been attempting to say that McCain has not been questioned in the same way. Well it might just be that McCain has explained his plans more clearly. You Obots are really blind now, it was Obama who had the answer that shocked the public. It was never the question. That is what the average American is hearing. By the way, good job, the attacks on an average citizen, what a strong way to show how your candidate will fight for and represent all of us. Keep up the hard work brainiacs, we are impressed.

I find it simply amazing how I know more about “Joe the Plumber” in 24 hours from our national media that I have learned from them about Sen. Obama in the two or more years he has been campaigning.
“Joe”, run for national office. I will vote for you, I know more about you, a common, ordinary citizen who simply asked a question of “the One” than I know about the “the One” who by answering your legitimate question stuck his foot in his mouth and revealed who he really is.

OK. You win post of the day!
I linked you to my blog for today.
Joe IS who he says he is. But…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t give a goddam if he is an undercover operative from the communist party. He got Obama to admit something… that has, heretofore, been behind the Obamedia mask. That is… Obama is gonna “spread the wealth” of the middle class….
Quite honestly… I don’t trust Obama to spread what little wealth I have amassed in this lifetime.

Joe Bob– you’ve obviously had your head up your ass for the last 8 years, given the number of times we Republicans have taken serious pot shots at McCain PRECISELY for reaching across the aisle to the Democrats when we wanted the R Party to stand its ground.
Remember McCain-Feingold? McCain-Kennedy? McCain-Leiberman? The “Gang of 14”? I guess you’re not old enough to remember how we R’s screamed bloody murder at McCain for ALL of these things.

BTW, Joe-Bob– precisely which bits of vital legislation were they that Obama wrote?
I mean besides that atrocity that will hand some $800 billion to the UN, they of the Oil for “Food” scandal who pocketed most of the money?
