Update with the mysterious Richardson chestbeating
In the statement from Richardson, Clinton spokeswoman Kathleen Strand said, “Senator Clinton is grateful for Governor Richardson’s and Senator Obama’s efforts to assist with retiring her campaign debt and she is looking forward to continuing to campaign for Senator Obama and help ensure victory for Democrats throughout the country this fall.”
It depends on who you ask as to whether or not her debt is paid off.
Our sources continue to say “Yes”.
Hillary’s financial team is saying “No”.
The bridge here is that it is now Hillary’s *personal* debt alone now that is to
be paid off, and that the *campaign* debt is indeed paid off, as our sources
have been telling us.
July numbers will be released on August 20th, so more should be known by then.
Me: I am officially pissed off.

Hillary Clinton (D)
Cash on Hand: $26,046,667
Here’s Will Bowers:
As *I* see it (from what our sources have told us), her *campaign* debt should be in the black as of now. Even if it isn’t, the *good* news is that we’ve brought the DNC’s strong arm tactics into public light and scrutiny… so that they will now be hard pressed to use her debt against her in their attempt to keep her name from being placed into nomination.

How did I miss that?
To increase the confusion – a slanderous article on Politico plus some bewildering stories I heard myself. Not happy.
