Mr. Mike, I have always been a supporter of unions (although I do not belong to one) until this with the Rent-A-Thug-For-Obama villians and the Bus-’em’in Brownshirt Union THUGS!

I read there was a lot of damage to the Capitol building too, some estimates up to 7 million because of the tape damage to the marble and wood requiring resurfacing. I’m not anti-union either, just anti-dumb union tactics.

It was just in the paper yesterday that maybe they overestimated the cost of cleaning up — a closer figure is $350,000 — that is $350 thousand and not 7.5 million. It seems that the higher figure came because they would like you to believe that when they take off the blue painters tape they would have needed restoration specialists to go around with special cleansers and q-tips and oh so carefully wash it off at $100 per hour!

LOL….ok, there’s a joke going around the netizens, seems the 7 mil estimate was from the unions’ estimate since the Madison Capitol building can only hire maintenance peeps from the unions. Makes sense to me

Hey!
Way, way off top, but I just wanted to say hi.
(My new laptop is still in critical condition after the severe virus attack, and the one I’m using now is more trouble than it’s worth, so I’m resigned to only using it to read.)
Anyway, I popped in to recommend Jack Cashill’s “Deconstructing Obama.” I couldn’t put it down; finished it in a day and a half. We are so f*cked. Without an honest press, we’re completely & totally screwed. They got Obama right where they wanted him, but I don’t know how the shills in MSM sleep at night. I really don’t.

votermom, I saw that. Too bad for her – she seems to be dealing with a lot. I enjoy checking in with that site even tho I know she is very authoritarian, even autocratic. She’s had several posts about how safe nuclear energy really is so maybe she is embarrassed to comment on the developing disaster in Japan. I was very surprised that she banned and then bad mouthed her front pagers. That was incredibly strange. And she would attack commenters for some inner reason, even when they were agreeing with her – just not agreeing in the “right” way, I guess. Since she put herself out there in the public light so strongly, I wonder what is up with her?
