No, it’s not. I can tell you this from experience. Smiling and pretending you didn’t hear it doesn’t work. Responding in kind doesn’t work. Defending yourself doesn’t work. NOTHING WORKS, because men who say that shit don’t want you there, and if that garbage comes out of their mouths once, it means they will look for any excuse to sink you. Nothing works, except men not saying it.
