Somebody once said that the problem with democracy is that we get the government we deserve.
I have flashbacks to a Simpsons episode with Steve Martin voicing a minor town official who was in charge of the garbage collecting. He got voted out and replaced with Homer (of course), and the entire town was filled with sewage after a predictable period of time.
All the townspeople begged him to come back and clean things up, and he stood behind a podium, wiped a tear from his eye, and said, “I can’t tell you how much joy and happiness it gives me … to leave you people wallowing in the mess you’ve made. You’re screwed. Goodbye.” And walked off.
I will personally make that woman a pitcher of mojitos any time she wants one for the rest of her life and crochet her the prettiest lap blanket I can manage so she can take a much-deserved load off in a nice cushy recliner, sip a cold drink, tuck the blankie around her, and tell the whole world to fuck off. *sigh*

Very nice graphic. Unfortunately, unless Hill’s going to throw her balls to the wall and challenge Barry in a 2012 primary, a’la, Teddy vs. Jimmy 1980, ain’t gonna happen. Unless. Bill fired a shot across the DNC bow by endorsing a non-DNC candidate? This could be fun. If not Hillary, who?
