When I passed on the call to protest in the preceding entry, there was a part of me that didn’t expect much to happen. But as I promised, I went.
This is what I found at Union Square North at 5:45 PM

.On the good news side, I did find this woman trying to organize something for June 2

Another good news: no vendors today of Obama paraphernalia.
But as far as activism – it’s gutted as planned 2 years ago.
For actuvusm before the times of Obama, just check the mast of this blog – it’s the 2 years anniversary.

Thank you for going edge. Could be the last minute organizing? On a somber holiday at that. The Bots won’t punish BP until King Bot does

It’s possible it was lack of time. We’ll see with the next ones. These are supposed to go on until July 4th. We’ll see.

Planned disempowerment.
It’s a really sad thing to watch.

Thanks for the effort, and for remembering the 2nd anniversary. Although many original PUMAs have since chosen to follow a different path in their political activism, the anniversary is still worth noting. Both the events that led to the birth of PUMA, and the united effort of which we PUMAs were a part are worth remembering.
At Hillarysworld forum (http://hillarysworld.activeboard.com/index.spark?aBID=132683&p=3&topicID=36204233) we are inviting all PUMAs, current and former, to drop by and share a PUMA memory.
Thanks.

Thanks for the link and for the clarification.
The PUMA acronym and immediate goals were temporary indeed. The goal of having fair and clean elections is timeless. Robbedvoter, PUMA and whatever else I’ll get to call myself in the future, it will remain something I will fight for, no matter what party does the thieving.
On Facebook a bot commented on my RBC link to “get over it” and “bitterness is an ugly look”
Criminals all sound the same , regardless of political stripe.
