Hillary backers left to question Dems’ decision
The article appeared in Metro papers in NY and Philadelphia
But now that the influence of their “messiah” — President Barack Obama — proved not to be enough to keep the Senate seat of longtime liberal Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy out of Republican control, some are left with a burning question: What was I thinking voting for Obama?
“I definitely should have voted for Hillary!” bemoaned Phyllis Entis on her foodie blog at eFoodAlert.blogspot.com.
“Yes, you should have,” responded a reader in the comments portion of the blog. “She knows how to get things done and isn’t afraid to use her power. We would have universal health care by now if she were in the Oval.”
Yeah, we were racist, old, uneducated, frustrated feminists and a few names I can’t print here
I can’t believe I can now read “Hillary backers” without the usual insult attached to it
“She didn’t dance around the issues,” “Bill” posted to ThePoliticizer.com. “She never would have let Republicans get away with their antics. Dare I say it: Hillary ’12!”
I don’t dare – not with yesterday’s SCOTUS decision. The Mass election may be the last one where votes mattered.
I can only say

Me neither! “Dare say”, that is. And I doubt the media will ever be “Hillary-or-any-other-woman backers”!
Was only just reminded, why I stopped watching Jon Stewart during the primaries … and why I shouldn’t go back:
After a clip of Martha Coakley saying that at least her two dogs will be happy now, that “we’re gonna be back with them”, Stewart, to entusiastic applause and laughter from the audience, goes into a vicious rant starting with a lonnnggg distraught ha-ha-ha-aaahhh-AAAHHH-AAARRRGGGHHH! and then this:
“I’m sure the 30 mill. Americans who now go without health insurance, because of your loss [huh?!], will be comfortable to know, your dogs will no longer suffer separation anxiety.”
Cherchez la femme! Always … Sigh!

She would have been the best president we’ve had in my lifetime, I’m convinced of that. I’m not a Hillbot, so I know she would’ve pissed me off some times, but all in all she would’ve been the best.
But it’s finished now. They will never let Hillary Clinton get elected to POTUS. Ever. So they can take their, would’ves, could’ves, & should’ves, and shove them where the sun don’t shine. It doesn’t help.

I wish the SCOTUS decision favoring C.U.N.T. had come out before the MA election. The dissenters were appointed by Democrats: Sotomeyer, Ginsberg, etc. So we’ve just sent a new GOP Senator in for the next SCOTUS confirmation.

I don’t know, cj. One of the Union guys was talking about B0 and said, “if he decides to run in 2012.” It may well be that he won’t run in 2012, and the way will clear for Hillary. If so, watch out! In my opinion, we need her even more now than we did in 2008. Keep it open, please, Secretary.

I agree with CJ. Hillary cannot win in 2012. The electorate will be out for Dem blood by then. (Sh**, they are already.) I don’t even want her to run on those terms!
Our only hope is Palin in 2012 to whoop some Obot a**, and Clinton in 2016 to push through a decent agenda. (Cuz as much as I like Sarah, I don’t see her as able to strong arm the congress as Hillary could.)
Barring this scenario (which is only remotely likely) I don’t see any real reform happening in my life time. Cuz I don’t know who could step into Hillary’s shoes to enact it?? In other words… we are fu**ed!
I told my hubby last evening… “well, that’s it… Bill Clinton is gonna remain the best president of my life time.”
And I meant it. Sigh.

You know what kills me? It’s like, oops, we were wrong, we picked the wrong guy. We hoped, we believed, but hey, we got it wrong. Sorry.
Well, sorry my ass. Spare me. Dumbo’s in the WH now, and nothing’s going to change that sorry fact, so just have the decency to give all of us an honest apology. That’s all. Admit you attacked like a pack of rabid dogs, and we’ll call it a day. Oh, and don’t forget to add that you’re very sorry for lying about PUMA too.

“We’re gonna get this done.”!
(– “this” being Health Insurancecare Reform. From TPM.)

Did Toles completely miss the fact that the Dems sold women’s reproductive rights out in the [w]health care bill?
This cartoon scolding women with Hilary signs implies that women stayed home out of spite over Clinton’s not getting the nomination and cost everyone decent health care. I don’t think the Stupak or Nelson amendments even made his sexist liberal dude radar.

I found the value of this in the passing of time. Frankly, when I saw it, I thought the elephant WAS HCR
