In spite of the efforts to hush the facts up, they were known for those who listened to NPR 2 days ago. Still, I agreed with the call for restraint from Obama untill the facts were in – advice he should have given himself at the time of the cop and the professor incident.
But now the facts are furiously exploding on covers of tabloids
The Daily News keeps it personal

while the NY Post goes all out

as I find myself, for the first time in my life not loathing something Lieberman says
because of this from the NPR piece
ZWERDLING: I want to add something else about Hasan at Walter Reed. The psychiatrist I talked to today said that he was the kind of guy who the staff actually stood around in the hallway, saying: Do you think he’s a terrorist, or is he just weird? And now, apparently, Walter Reed is in a lockdown mode where they’ve been instructed – all the staff has been instructed: Do not talk to anybody about this investigation, except military people. Do not talk to the FBI, because they’re afraid, potentially, what if people decide investigating this that people missed potential warning signs about the guy
Update of November 10
The logical conclusion reached the NYC tabloids:

and NY Post, in the mold of their famous “Bush knew”

Of course, the logical question is: If NY Post extended the FBI knowledge to the most moronic president we had, why wouldn’t the 11 dimensional chess player being granted the same courtesy? Why not
“OBAMA KNEW”?

Yes, I agree. When we’re talking about a possible home-grown terrorist, we should wait until all the facts are known.
Having said that, as a woman, I can’t afford to be politically correct about any religion, but especially one that espouses Sharia law & Jihadism.

Good observations and reading at Hillbuzz.org
It’s surprising who is hired by Homeland Security
In the aftermath of yet another Muslim terrorist attack on this country, in the form of the rampage at Ft. Hood by a Muslim US soldier, we keep thinking about that day we took Ernestine to the FBI so she could tell them what she saw, as well as another time we went to the FBI ourselves and told them about a suspicious person we knew — an Iranian psychologist who used to be engaged to a friend of ours and who had recently started working for Homeland Security.
This guy was crazy, used to beat our friend, and had a strict Muslim family who refused to allow the woman inside their home. When “Tony” would go home for something, “Kelly” would have to wait in the car. Hours would pass, and finally Tony would sprint to the car with some pita and rice wrapped in tinfoil for her to eat while he had dinner inside with mom, dad, and his sisters. His mother would actually spit on her, calling her “dirty American’ if she ever came to close, or did anything this family felt overstepped her boundaries…..
Constantly, Tony and his family talked about how much they hated America, how they thought the 9/11 attacks were good for this country (as it would humble us), and how they prayed for the souls of the martyrs of that day…not the people who died in the buildings and on the ground in the wreckage, but the bastards who took over those planes and caused all that destruction in the name of Allah. ….. Finally, AT LAST, this stuff was the last straw for Kelly, who left Tony for good. He went to her house, broke in, beat and raped her one last time for good measure, and threatened to have his family kill all of her family members unless she took him back, but Kelly moved away and Tony never bothered her again.

Oh my Goodness!
Homeland Security is employing Terrorists!
Until…just a year or so ago she got an email from him, on her new job’s work email, a job Tony couldn’t have known she had. In the email Tony let her know that he now worked for Homeland Security, and was married to “a good Persian woman” who also worked for Homeland Security.
The message was curt and professional sounding and violates none of the government’s computer use policies, but if you know Tony the way we know Tony, you can appreciate the menace that lingers unsaid…letting Kelly know he can find her whenever he wants…informing her he now works for Homeland Security…without saying it, giving her the impression that his new job has given him new powers and that the “bad American woman” has been replaced by a “good Persian one”.
Same source as above.

Too many people at too many levels let this problem slip by them. A little too much concern for political correctness, instead of making some dominoes fall that could have triggered some exposure to this guy before he went alahuakbar on innocent people. That is what people in the appropriate places are supposed to do. Investigate to find whether or not there is anything wrong. If not, then that is the end of it. If so, then that is where the problems get addressed.
An interesting viewpoint on his take on war and killing.
