I failed to find a scary Rahm, found one from a fan instead. I suppose it’s scary on a different level

I first became aware of this as a “strategy” from an Ambinder tweet
Interesting how folks attribute the WH’s health care strategy to Rahm Emanuel. This is Obama’s strategy — make no mistake.
I remembered then how Bobots like Sirota and Greenwald seem to dump all their disappointments in Obama’s betrayals on Emmanuel.
Let me make it absolutely clear: this is not a defense of the man who said that women insulted through the primaries shall return to their knitting – for one thing Rahm – I never stopped knitting – I can multitask.
But this image of the blameless, beloved Obama being held prisoner by evil Rahm… I can see it know – bound and gaged on the railroad in front of an incoming steam locomotive…And Rahm is twirling his moustache (he’d have to have one for this scene!)
In the latest stage of this fantasy, they actually gave it a name – not sure whether it will catch: the rahmflu.
Interestingly enough, Obama seems to be vaccinated as he lays there on the railroad. But congrespeople who waver on the public option, they seem to be catching it.
I know Obama is taking a page from Jr & Rove. But when your followers think you are playing multidimensional chess on Mars, it’s a bit harder to take credit for all successes while blaming your henchman for all the betrayals.
I suppose it’s Rahm’s fault Obama just trivialized his alleged base when talking to conservatives? Such a fiend, must have hypnotic powers for his devilish plots!

Makes me wonder: when freepers were occasionally dissatisfied with Jr, were they actually blaming Rove?

Is the ‘Rahmflu’ catchy like the H1N1 flu? I have more fear of ‘The Gang of Six Syndrome’, the decisions from that group could be lethal to some folks with no Health Care.

What do ya know – since the Gang of Six are doing Obama’s bidding, their deeds too might be symptoms of Rahmflu.
BTW, did you know they didn’t even consider a public option?

I hate to bring this up but…. if Rahm is taking the fall for Obama’s shortcomings, I bet there is some anti-Semitism involved.
Personally… I don’t give two hoots about either man. But I don’t mind calling out an “ism” when I see one as blatant as this.
Oh… and BTW… that is one SCARY photoshop of Rahmbo you found. Ewwww…..

Can you show any evidence of anti-antisemitism in their remarks?
After being called a racist for not supporting Obama, by a multitude of people, I don’t have much patience for claiming people can not dislike someone unless it is about their race or religion.
I do not like Rahm and never have. My children are Jewish by heritage, something I have tried to instill in them is pride in that side of their family.

do these people have any brains? I knew they didn’t have a lot when it comes to character judgment, but I thought they had some brain power… after all most of them can spell and put a sentence together correctly.
When you chose your Chief of Staff, you chose your most trusted political ally and friend. Obama chose Rahm, a person universally hated on the left and for good reason. But Obama chose him and all you heard from the left were crickets at the time.
So either Obama and Rahm are close and on the same page 0r Obama is a puppet.
Either way, the urge to say “I told you so” is very strong.

Great point! Like I used to say of W after 9.11: either he’s responsible or he’s irresponsible.

It has to be someone else’s fault, because it is never Obama’s responsibility (unless it is something positive). It’s a disease, and the levels of denial and justification seem to be endless. IMHO Obama chose Rahm, a hard-core Chicago political operative, because he had no clue what he was doing. He thought he could just skate by, as he has his whole life, on his supposed rhetoric and charm. Since he delegated the stimulus bill and now health care, there are “too many cooks in the kitchen,” and the result is a mess. So, what does Obama do? Get in the ‘copter, and head for vacation.

Amen!
Obama has never done an honest day of work in his entire 53 year old life!

I put the full blame on Obama, but I think Rahm & Axelrod have to wind him up, and point him in the right direction every morning.
Covering Obama’s ass is turning into a full time job though. I don’t know if anyone watched Bill Maher last night, but Chuck Todd couldn’t look like a bigger tool, if he tried.

Is it possible the PBO administration is possibly more corrupt than Bush’s ? Either that, or just dumber? I think it’s the latter
