After being silent all through the primaries, endorsed the guy over the woman candidate, only noticed sexism when others brought it up, declared Palin was not a woman as she held different views, NOW is starting to notice that the misogynist candidate they betrayed their goals and constituency for is not all that

Kim Gandy, president of the National Organization of Women, told ABCNews.com that women nationwide had expected a more gender-balanced Cabinet.

Expected, huh? Like what in Obama’s campaign demeanor entitled thm to that?

“It’s true that even with the addition of Solis — who is excellent — there are still only three women who head departments and five women overall in the administration,” said Gandy. “That’s a lot of men.”

“All of the women who supported President-elect Obama and Vice President Joe Biden believe that they are supporters of women’s rights and had hoped for and expected some more tangible evidence of that in the Cabinet picks,” said Gandy.

Interestingly enough, Warren’s pick is only resented by the gay community, but Gandy and NOW still miss the bus on Warren’s anti choice, anti-women views. Once again, they let us unrepresented.

And then of course, we have all the men that find virtue in this

Ted Sorensen, a longtime supporter of Obama’s, said that he does not think the President-elect has any false hopes of appeasing everyone.

“Of course Obama is open to lots of different perspectives, but he doesn’t strike me as the kind of man who tries to please everyone,” said Sorensen.

Yeah, Ted. It’s all nice and good as long as you feel privileged. But just between you and I, you won’t be on his pleasing list either. Not even sure if there’s room there for the immediate family.

If NOW ignored the effect of Warren on women, at least these people didn’t in their “draft of the invocation”

Bless the women, who have chosen to follow their ambitions into public life, but change the hearts, Lord, of Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton, Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano, United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, and Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis from independent lives of their own to submission to their husbands, if any, for I love the King James Version’s rendition of Ephesians 5:22 “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands” and of course “Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ if God.” 1 Corinthians 11:3. These women have chosen to participate in the public life of the community. Enlighten them as to the requirement that women not speak in church, saving any questions they have about their common life to ask their husbands as they return home.
