Obama’s ad becomes more embarrassing by the minute.
Off the bat, I thought: OK, this will make a few snotty 18 years old feel smarter, but anyone over 30 knows you can fully educate yourself to use a computer in 10 days, probably half this time with assistance.
Now more facts come to light on what Obama really mocked
McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.
This July McCain told Ny Times in an interview:
Mr. McCain: They go on for me. I am learning to get online myself, and I will have that down fairly soon, getting on myself. I don’t expect to be a great communicator, I don’t expect to set up my own blog, but I am becoming computer literate to the point where I can get the information that I need – including going to my daughter’s blog first, before anything else.
and also, out there since 2000
McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.
Nice going Obama. Mking fun of everyone over 30 just turned in gratuitous jokes at the expense of a war hero. You already kicked Max Cleland from one of your events – this makes a pattern.
You are now reminding me of Reagan’s secretary – James Watts – who bragged:
we have a woman, we have a cripple in this administration…
being speechless, I can only add to this a comment from the Confluence
I checked out BO’s new ad 1982 on Charles’ blog. I am now convinced that BO is a better person than McCain and his campaign is closer to God than McCains.(sic)
McCain brought out this whole bunch of incisive ads criticizing BO. So Obama brought out this one gem of an ad insulting every citizen – senior or otherwise – who are not good with computers and the internet. This proves conclusively that his campaign is just not so good at being selectively and effectively mean. IOW he is a better person.
PUMAs, I hope you will now learn the error of your ways and vote Obama. Vote Obama because McCain is old and cannot use the internet. Or vote Obama because he sucks at sarcasm.
Get that you net-based sarcastic deadenders!
which sounded do realistic, I thought it was a B0bot

Thank you for my morning reminder of why I will NEVER support Barack Obama for anything except a lengthy prison term (where he can txt all his BFFs and e-mail himself about how great he is all day long).
It’s good to start the day with a sense of purpose!

IMO The comment from the confluence was sarcasm-
not to be taken literally.

I had to agree with you about the sarcastic nature of the comment – I don’t think my confusion speaks so much to my inability to detect sarcasm as to the over the top quality of the posts we get from the real thing.

That is what you get when you have 20 somethings run your campaign.
Youth is great…. but you can’t discount the value of wisdom.
I myself am learning that as I hit my 40’s…

Hundreds of advisers and he still can’t open his mouth without saying something stupid.

If he can use a blackberry, he can type an email. In fact, he can type an email on his blackberry.
