Out of the many lies NY Times printed this campaign they chose this one to correct

The chairwoman of an Alaskan political party that advocates a vote on the state’s succession from the union said Tuesday that she had been mistaken when she said Gov. Sarah Palin was a member of the group.

A front-page story in The New York Times on Tuesday and articles in other news media reported that Ms. Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party for two years in the 1990’s.

Maybe losing 3.9 of their readers lately will make them remember more.

Meanwhile, Over at ABC, they are gloating that Rolling Stone subsidiary US is trashing Palin in the supermarkets on behalf of Obama

On US, I am sorry to have to use Malkin as a source, but the facts are these

Correntewire brings us the sparkling wit of Stephanie Miller

The great feminist Stephanie Miller just heard that Sarah Palin plays the flute.

“So,” she wittily rejoined, “she’s good with her mouth.” Her male cohost returned to the riff after speculating about her speaking in tongues.

keep it up guys! it’s stuff like this that made me support Hillary, and will make me vote McCain too!

In the primaries, the more you trashed, the more Hillary won .

update

I just found this study on media bias in this campaign – from October 2007

Some findings:

  • Overall, Democrats also have received more positive coverage than Republicans (35% of stories vs. 26%), while Republicans received more negative coverage than Democrats (35% vs. 26%). For both parties, a plurality of stories, 39%, were neutral or balanced.
  • Most of that difference in tone, however, can be attributed to the friendly coverage of Obama (47% positive) and the critical coverage of McCain (just 12% positive.) When those two candidates are removed from the field, the tone of coverage for the two parties is virtually identical.

some numbers

Obama: 47% positive, 16% negative.
Clinton: 27% positive, 38% negative.
McCain: 12% positive, 48% negative
Giuliani: 28% positive, 37% negative

Net numbers
