Out of the many lies NY Times printed this campaign they chose this one to correct
The chairwoman of an Alaskan political party that advocates a vote on the state’s succession from the union said Tuesday that she had been mistaken when she said Gov. Sarah Palin was a member of the group.
A front-page story in The New York Times on Tuesday and articles in other news media reported that Ms. Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party for two years in the 1990’s.
Maybe losing 3.9 of their readers lately will make them remember more.
Meanwhile, Over at ABC, they are gloating that Rolling Stone subsidiary US is trashing Palin in the supermarkets on behalf of Obama
On US, I am sorry to have to use Malkin as a source, but the facts are these

Correntewire brings us the sparkling wit of Stephanie Miller
The great feminist Stephanie Miller just heard that Sarah Palin plays the flute.
“So,” she wittily rejoined, “she’s good with her mouth.” Her male cohost returned to the riff after speculating about her speaking in tongues.
keep it up guys! it’s stuff like this that made me support Hillary, and will make me vote McCain too!
In the primaries, the more you trashed, the more Hillary won .
update
I just found this study on media bias in this campaign – from October 2007
Some findings:
- Overall, Democrats also have received more positive coverage than Republicans (35% of stories vs. 26%), while Republicans received more negative coverage than Democrats (35% vs. 26%). For both parties, a plurality of stories, 39%, were neutral or balanced.
- Most of that difference in tone, however, can be attributed to the friendly coverage of Obama (47% positive) and the critical coverage of McCain (just 12% positive.) When those two candidates are removed from the field, the tone of coverage for the two parties is virtually identical.
some numbers
Obama: 47% positive, 16% negative.
Clinton: 27% positive, 38% negative.
McCain: 12% positive, 48% negative
Giuliani: 28% positive, 37% negative
JEDNE
Net numbers
Obama +31
Giuliani -9
Clinton -11
McCain -36

I love it that they decided to make ONE correction…they should have said”Boy did we screw up, we have been attacking Palin’s family, and making false sensational headlines about her’….
They’ll NEVER say that though because they all sexist PIGS.

I am crossing over and voting for McCain/Palin.
The DNC is corrupt right along with Obama and his thugs. More and more people are seeing the light. PUMA

OMG, that picture of the cat being dragged across the carpet really captures the feeling I have when some Obots in my family try to browbeat me into liking Obama! It’s really kinda hard to like someone when other people “insist” that you “must.” They’re voices get louder and more strident while you’re fighting a snicker.

Oops, should be “their voices,” LOL. Too early in the AM. Sorry, don’t know how to edit after post!

Let them keep it up if that’s ALL THEY GOT!!! The more they do this; the easier they make it for me to vote for McCain/Palin. They can call me a republican until the cows come home; they can gnash their teeth and foam at the mouths and call me a racist; they can scream and rant at me about Roe vs Wade; they can accuse me of being an ax murderer, a right-wing nut, any and all of the above; they can threaten me with riots in the streets… BRING IT ON!!!! The one thing that is true is that I am PAST angry and I am going for revenge. They don’t want me in THEIR party… fine.. they got it.. too bad they didn’t remember that I VOTE!!! religiously.. ALWAYS VOTE… and this year.. NOTHING ON TOP FOR THE DIM DEMS.
I will work as hard AGAINST all these corrupt idiots who have stolen my party from me as I ever worked for the party… WE WILL REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER.. and WE WILL REMEMBER EVERY ELECTION YEAR WHEN ONE OF THESE COMES UP FOR ELECTION!!!!

Lavenia,
Nice to hear someone who feels the same way I do. They have stolen my party and told me that we simply can’t have a woman for higher office. Well, we will see about that. To see the hate and vitriol that the left is leveling against PUMAS and Sarah Palin, and Hillary and Bill feels me with great sadness that all the years we spent trying to build the party of campassion, is now dead and gone.
According to the DNC’s surrogate Rock the Vote coordinator, P.Diddy, our new leaders have to be versed in black problems and crack cocaine and crime, and since there are no black people in AK, then Sarah Palin can’t be VP. I’m pretty sure this will come as a shock to the black americans who live in Ak, but what do I know.

i am still registered as a dem but i will be voting for mccain/palin. i have so much respect for john mccain and always have had. i now find myself looking forward to voting for a woman vp who is a lot like me, except i dont run a state. obama’s lack of qualifications for the job he seeks becomes ever more glaringly obvious every time his surrogates and the media yelp about palins so called “lack of experience”. these people are disgusting since the woman is the one who gets the crap and the man at the top of the other ticket gets adulation for his so called judgement. watching them try to tear down this woman is revolting and i will be revolting against the dem party in nov.

Love it!

Doesn’t it just want to make you cry when you see the Republicans standby Sarah Palin. Not one Democrat or its party ever supported Hillary. Moreover, they added their disdain by calling her and Bill racist. I will never ever vote for any democrat on the down ticket that went along with this fake an undemocratic primary.Dean, Reid,Brazile, BHO, Kerry, Kennedy and Pelosi are so corrupt. And they have corrupted the democratic party. PUMA always.

Judy, there’s a simple explanation for this: Howard Dean didn’t have cable!

McCain/Palin ‘08.
The hell with the Dems. I’ve had it.
They can find a fool to replace me; I’ve lived long enough to know abuse when I see it.

just watched Palin give her speech. Not too shabby, Ithink Obama missed his chance, if he was going to pre-empt one of the speeched at the Rep. convention with his O’Reilly interview, it should have been tonight’s. She did a number on him, the VP is the attach dog, and she did it well. It would also have kept her from being as potent at undoing their damage as she was. Oh well, like I said before, his campaign isn’t all that good, he got where he is by cheating. What we have to watch out for is how they plan to cheat in Nov. Make no mistake, they intend to cheat somehow. They haven’t missed a chance yet.
