McClatchy reports this for show concern:
“We’re praying for New Orleans,” Obama said.
Biden said the state and federal government seems “much, much, much more prepared” for this storm than Hurricane Katrina.
Even so, he said, “Say a prayer it doesn’t hit. They’ve had enough.”
It would all be very nice and, oh so godly, if not undercut by these guys
here’s Donnie ‘get over it” Fowler giggling about a hurricane hitting during the GOP convention and being proof that “God is on our side”.
He better hope no one dies in this funny, funny circumstance
Turns out Michael Moore said it too
This hurricane is proof that there is a god in heaven
WWGD?
So, are they all prayng to the same God? Or is Obama it? Will those people be spared now or feel the wrath of the DNC?
Update
Fowler appologizes – sorta
How cann one not forgive this:
“One doesn’t anticipate that one’s private conversation will be surreptitiously taped by some right-wing nutcase,” said Fowler. “But that’s the nature of what we’re dealing with.”

What? Do you mean to say the Divine Obama can’t descend from his Denver temple, stroll out across the Gulf and bid the winds and waves be still?
