According to this post at Riverdaughter hitting us over the head with Roe vs Wade was the plan all along – at least Chuck Todd knows so:
The SCOTUS, Roe v. Wade and women’s issues was the BO campaigns “ace in the hole” according to Chuck Todd from MSNBO network. The BO spokesperson told Todd that they would use any means necessary to beat Hillary and if women were offended, they would come back to the party during the GE because their plan was to “play the Roe v. Wade card.” THAT is a direct quote from the BO campaign via Todd.
So, it’s not that they didn’t notice any sexism, they planned how to cover for using it afterwards.
I don’t think he meant for us to see this video either where he tells fundies he opposed abortions (min. 1:50 mark)

Really, now. Are Democrats so gung ho for abortion and partial birth abortion and taxpayer funding of abortion and even Obama’s opposition to an bill outlawing infanticide of born-alive victims of botched abortions, they will toss overboard concerns about Obama’s judgment, experience, campaign tricks, and dishonest rhetoric. They will ignore that women’s issues is a lot broader than killing a fetus?

I happen to put value on women’s rights to choice.
I also happen to not trust Obama of giving a damn about them.
What that comment shows is just cold manipulation of women – who are a bit smarter than that.
And I agree with you that reproductive freedom – important as it is – is but one of many women issues.
Personally, voters’ rights, democratic elections – is more important than any “women issues” anyone can think of.

R v W, Obama ace in the hole? Obama is the a in the hole. I am not surprised. Look at how he deals with gay marriage. If I were gay, I would be very leery of his positions. He has consistently said he does not approve of gay relationships, nor gay marriage, but does support civil unions. His Christian beliefs prevent him from being supportive of gay relationships. There isn’t anything we can trust this nominee with. Thank you for uncovering yet another layer of the hypocrisy of the great Great Imposter, Obama.
